71-Year-Old Frenchman to Float Across the Atlantic Ocean in a Barrel

A 71-year-old retired military parachutist will travel across the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean on a self-crafted barrel. Jean-Jacques Savin has already left the Canary Islands, traveling at a consistent pace of "two or three kilometers an hour," as the capsule only moves with the help of the ocean's currents.
